George Pero has a successful track record of over 27 years in the automotive industry covering every facet from retail to wholesale, and ultimately the remarketing/auction industry.
George started in the car business on the retail side working for a small group of family owned franchise dealerships in Southern California. In a very short time, George was able to obtain senior management positions with several reputable franchises advancing his career in retail. Having most recently focused on the wholesale remarketing industry, he launched and developed a very successful on-site mobile auction company, “Auctions In Motion”. After just 6 short years following the start-up, Pero sold his business to a larger auction company with a national platform through a very carefully executed succession plan and exit strategy.
Pero’s accomplishments in growing small to mid-size companies are mostly fueled by creating a positive corporate culture, increasing top line revenue through sales and maximizing efficiencies by controlling costs. What sets him apart is the ability to quickly identify and mitigate risks as well as capitalize on missed opportunities enabling most any company to grow beyond their own expectations as he has most recently accomplished with Corry Auto Dealers Exchange, an auto auction in NW Pennsylvania.
George possesses a tremendous level of understanding and appreciation of the acquisition process having executed transactions while acting for both buyer and seller. Having sat on both sides, he brings a unique approach to the table enabling all parties to cross the finish line with mutually beneficial goals in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
